Sport DMV is a CapitalMark-owned media product: a public site for DMV fans and a custom CMS for the newsroom — one codebase, not a bolted-on blog theme. Story → Outputs, team hubs, creator aggregation, first-party ads, and SEO foundations.
Two surfaces, one product: the public Sport DMV site fans browse, and a custom newsroom CMS where editors work. Local coverage for Commanders, Capitals, Nationals, Wizards, college, and more — stories, scores, creators, and sponsor inventory under one DMV brand.
Next.js monorepo with apps/web (public) and apps/cms (newsroom). Shared Postgres, market-scoped content, Better Auth for the desk, and Story → Outputs so site articles and social posts share one editorial spine — not a generic CMS skin.
Pre-launch. Domain sportdmv.com is owned through 2028; public cutover and soft launch are next after hosting and weekly publish rhythm.
